A studio is a place where artists live, interact, and influence the world around them. Here artists will study, create, collaborate, teach, inspire … and seek purpose.
In Matthew 5 , using two powerful and unforgettable metaphors, Jesus talks about who we are and how we should live — “you are the salt of the earth” (verse 13) and “you are the light of the world” (verse 14) He draws these together in verse 16 : In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven”. As Christ followers artists are to be salt and light. The studio is the place to give a tangible expression of an authentic and vibrant faith.
